We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Office Manager. Ideally they will be solution focussed, experienced in managing a small team and have a proven track record of effective office management in a dynamic work environment. The Office Manager is a crucial member of the professional support staff team at the UTC, working closely with a wide range of colleagues. They are responsible for ensuring that the administrative functions run effectively and will provide high-level administrative support for the Strategic Senior Leadership Team.
As Office Manager the post holder will organise and supervise administrative systems and procedures and ensure a quality and responsive customer service with all stakeholders. They will have strong people interaction skills and build positive relationships with the staff team to ensure that they are supported with administrative processes. They will oversee the management and delivery of reception and office administration and will strive to ensure the implementation of best practices and the development of efficient processes in a proactive and innovative manner.
It is a role that requires a clear understanding of the UTC’s ethos and values which includes our Student Leaver Profile. The Student Leaver Profile encompasses three elements which include knowledge, experience and core skills and all UTC staff are expected to develop these in themselves, their colleagues and students. This role involves effectively working with all stakeholders and embracing the unique qualities of the UTC as a progressive learning environment.
