Sport and Physical Education has always been a driving force in both my personal and professional life. Growing up in a small town in West Yorkshire, I was introduced to sport at a young age and enjoyed the challenge it provided. I am a passionate sport enthusiast with a particular love for football, however my love for sport extends across a wide range of activities.
I enjoy staying active and try to participate in a variety of sports whenever I can. If I am not participating, you will find me at Elland Road supporting Leeds United. I have always held a strong desire to share my knowledge and passion for sport. At a young age I seized any opportunity to gain practical experiences from volunteering at local clubs to leading summer coaching camps. This led me onto a sports coaching course at University.
After relocating to the North East and studying at Teesside University, I joined UTC South Durham in 2017 undertaking a number of roles. I took responsibility for the PE department in 2022 and more recently became the Sixth Form Culture and Climate Lead.
