I have worked in education for 20 years and have had the privilege of working for UTC since it’s opening in September 2016 as part of the Pastoral and Safeguarding Team. Prior to UTC I worked in two Darlington Schools and was responsible for work experience, careers and securing post 16 placements.
Alongside my pastoral and safeguarding duties, I am the Attendance Officer for UTC and am extremely passionate about supporting our students to fulfil their potential. By offering one to one guidance on a range of difficulties that our students face my focus is on making our young people feel valued and safe during their time with us.
I live in Darlington with my son Tom and love nothing more than relaxing and going on holiday with friends and family as well as joining in with the odd Zumba class.
