My name is Samantha Rafferty, and I have proudly served as a Parent Trustee at UTC South Durham for the past few years. I am passionate about supporting the school’s vision of preparing students to be life-ready and helping them progress into positive destinations when they leave education.
I strongly believe in the importance of open and effective communication and bring both a parent’s perspective and experience from the business world to the Board. I am committed to supporting the continued growth and success of the school, ensuring that the interests of students and families remain at the heart of decision-making.
Working collaboratively with staff, governors, parents and the wider community is important to me, and I value the opportunity to represent and support families across the school.
